Why wait? Why not?

Innovative drama group, Outloud Productions, is staging a play called Why Wait? Why Not? which gives important messages about sexually transmitted infections including chlamydia and the importance of waiting before having sex.

The drama, based in the bedroom of a young man called Dick, deals with the consequences of him having casual unprotected sex.

It considers the future and the devastating effect of his past behaviour causing infertility
problems for his steady girlfriend Katie who he has unknowingly infected with chlamydia.

The production will be touring secondary schools in South East Essex between Monday 23 April and Friday 4 May 2007.
